Mr. Georgi Bobev, the deputy chairman of the Ski federation of Bulgaria, reported on 15 of February 2012 that over 300 million people worldwide
watch the men ski slalom and giant slalom competition of the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup series in Bansko on 18 and 19 February 2012.
Over 25 TV stations show the ski event direct from Bansko. In this way this is the biggest sport event in Bulgaria in 2012.
