Growth of the revenues from tourists from Germany, UK and Russia
The authorities in Bulgaria have an advertising project of three per cent growth of the revenues from tourists from Germany, UK and Russia.
It is said that Germany and the UK make about 34 per cent of the trips in Europe and Russian market of tours to Bulgaria is one of the fastest developing markets.
It is said that in 2009, Bulgaria was visited by 740,000 Germans, 287,000 Russians and 286,000 British tourists.
These three countries rank third, fourth and fifth, right after Romania and Greece on biggest number of foreign tourists in Bulgaria in 2009.
